Platzhalter Musikblog – Das Jazzstück

Ausgangspunkt war wieder einer der zahlreichen YT workshop, der sympathische         Jef Gibbons erläutert dort, wie schnell man in der MASCHINE zu Jazzakkorden kommt.

Die „spiele“ ich auch an den Rhodes – Massive Sound – eine Leadmelodie dazu zu entwickeln, wenn die Akkorde schon aus 9-11 Noten bestehen war mir auf professionelle Weise nicht möglich, alles klang Scheiße …. Also Loopcloud auf: Genre Jazz, Cmin – und losgehts, da passte witziger Weise alles aus den 108 angebotenen Samples.

In dem YT wurde auch wieder der große „Trick“ gezeigt, wie man zu einer Bassline kommt, Akkorde kopieren, obere Noten löschen. Hatte ich auch erst im Stück drin, aber mal ehrlich, hört euch den Bassloop an, welcher in der finalen Version drin ist – keine Frage was ich genommen habe. Der ist 8 Takte lang, da merkt keine Sau, das er immer wieder zum Einsatz kommt. Mit der Saxphonhook hatte ich Glück, die wurde von drei verschiedenen Instrumenten intoniert, da fällt es nicht so stark auf, dass das nur Samples sind, Abwechslung und Groove ist gegeben. Das ganze Stück hat übrigens einen Swingfaktor von 26 % – muss ich ehrlich sein, höre ich nicht raus, aber das Gesamtergebnis gefällt.

Und solche klasse Vocals kommen natürlich auch zu pass, die so warm aufzunehmen, ist professionelle Studioarbeit, ich kaufe sie für 4 Loopcloudpunkte, da habe ich 3600 also, alles kein Problem.

Mein alter Freund hat mich mal gefragt, ob ich mich als Künstler sehe – da habe ich gleich „Ja“ gesagt, Musiker sicher nicht, aber kunstvolle Arrangements zu kreieren, das kann ich :

I only had it in the piece, but honestly, listen to the bass loop, which is in the final version – no question what I took. It is 8 bars long, because no sow notices that it is used again and again. I was lucky with the Saxphonhook, which was intoned by three different instruments, because it is not so noticeable that these are just samples, there is variety and groove. Incidentally, the whole piece has a swing factor of 26% – I have to be honest, I don’t hear it out, but the overall result pleases. And of course such great vocals also come to pass, which is so warm to record is professional studio work, I buy them for 4 loop cloud points, so I have 3600, so no problem.
